I’ve been hard at work over the past few weeks and haven’t had the time to make a post, so this one is going to do some catching up on what I have been up to. Mainly I have been putting in my 40-a-week at the day job. As we all know this is the down-time of the photo industry and getting work is just plain slow for just about every photographer is time of year.

Zack Arias put together a great short about why many of us photographers (artists of all kinds) have stuck with it.

Nick work Zack! Right on in all senses!

I haven’t been actually out shooting too much, the weather and the day job have had a lot to do with that. But last weekend drove 5 hours across the state to The Lake Pepin Art and Design Center for a musical performance that was down-right out of this world. It’s really a shame that I have to travel 250+ miles for artistic performances.
The Hollands opened up the night with a great set of original music followed by the unique sound of Terra Guitarra.

I have posted a mini gallery of the photos I took from the event on michaelwiesman.com.

Spring is just around the corner and I have a lot shoots in the mix. I, much like the rest of Wisconsin and the midwest are looking forward to sunny skies and warm weather.
